About Us

Established in the early 1960's Wood Drove has always been a family run kennels. Set in 5 acres of scenic private land, you can relax in the knowledge your dogs are being cared for in a safe and secure environment.

All our guests leave with a waggy tail whether they have been with us 1 night or 6 weeks!

Exercise

All our dogs are exercised twice a day in our 3 acre secure field. Depending on preference, this can be:

• on the lead
• off the lead
• in small playgroups
• alone

All walks are accompanied and supervised by our retired husky racer Dave.

Food

We have a variety of wet and dry foods which are included in the price. However, if you wish you can bring in your own food which we are happy to administer.

Our Family

	Tina with her two rescued lurchers Teddy and Dexter who are sadly no longer with us. Tina and Dave have 3 rescued Lurchers; Rudy, Jasper and Alfie!

	Sam is the newest member of team (well not so new anymore!!) and can often be found conversing in what she calls 'doolittle speak' with the dogs and cats - crazy or not, the animals adore her! Sam and Kellie have added a new member to their family - a feisty Chihuahua called Tutu (Ollie is most definately not amused)

Here at Wood Drove the animals become part of our family. We are animal owners and know how treasured and precious your furry little friends are to you. The animals are very content seeing the same friendly faces every day as we have no extra members of staff other than our weekend helper Nina.
